Our first time glamping and definitely not our last. In desperate need of a break from the city and this was all we needed. The place was very clean and cosy. The hot tub was perfect in the cold night. Also thank you for all of your suggestions Joe thank you for the amazing stay.

This turned out to be the perfect getaway for me and my partner since the view we had of the castle was where we had our first date which made this stay 100% better because it's our two year anniversary. The cabin was spot on, it was clean had everything you wanted. Also, the view of the sunrise was beautiful. Joe was also very helpful, especially with the coffee machine would definitely come here again thank you

My partner & I have just spent the most amazing two nights at this beautiful place ❤️ We have glamped all over the country but Prospect House Farm is by far the best place we have ever stayed. The views are stunning, the pod itself was spotless & had everything we needed with great space saving facilities! The bed was really comfy, the bedding lovely & soft. The hot tub was out of this world ❤️ we spent hours in it, star gazing 🌟 & listening to the wildlife. We can't wait to go back, thank you so much for a truly magical stay 😍

Superb Pod, compact and everything you could think of provided. The location is very quiet and secluded just what we wanted for the 3 nights. Hot tub my wife’s favourite part. On our list to return.

This place is just scam. They charge you a lot of money for no reason people trying to get relax over there but they are not let you to do just charging extra. And they make liar you did something for this house and they charge you extra when you come back to home. I paid 300 for 2 Night time when I’m come back to home they charge me £60 extra pound extra for nothing they make liar sent me a mail. I burn sofa. no service at all no towel clean no nothing. Everything is dirty.

I enjoyed my time being here breathing in the air in this lovely farm looking at two beautiful horses and listening to the sounds of life in this lovely place. Appreciate your effort to make this little lodge beautiful clean and nice we spent our time with my husband here to celebrate our anniversary thanks I will come back soon😍

What a glorious couple of days we have had. So peaceful and relaxing with amazing views. Perfect base for exploring the area followed by a relaxing evening in the hot tub. Cannot recommend enough if you are travelling this way.

The most magical weekend The getaway was a 36th birthday present. The pod is perfect, cosy, clean and the views and noises of nature are perfect for the soul. The first night was drinks and hot tub under the stars which when the lights are all off is one of the most beautiful, breathtaking sights I've ever seen. We went to York for my birthday day spent a lot of money in the shambles, amazing food, museums. Finished off with a film face masks and cuddles. This has been the most perfect day. I can't explain how wonderful this place is. We will be back for sure thank you again.

Excellent stay in your pod as part of our first wedding anniversary celebrations. Hot tub was lovely and private with great view of the stars! Cooking amenities are great, really comfy bed, couldn't suss the coffee machine out though ! Visit to Ravenscar to see the seals 10 mins away and a standard visit to Scarborough for fish and chips. We even had a couple of deer visit us briefly from the woods behind! Thanks for a great stay. We will definitely return. Shame we didn’t meet the owners but great comms regardless.

I stayed for 4 nights in the Little Big Lodge, it is in a beautiful rural location close to Scarborough and the North Yorkshire Coastline.
The lodge was clean, well equipped and so comfortable and cozy. The owners were really helpful and friendly. I really appreciated the peaceful, quiet space, it was just what I needed! Thank you both. Jan.

First visit to this site on our first campervan stay.
We loved it. Very well located, approximately 3 miles from Scarborough and 1 mile from Scalby.
The site has very clean showers and toilets also washing up facilities with fridge freezers if you need them.
Loved the way they have a horse box which houses two toilets and an extremely good shower.
Definitely recommend this site and will visit again if over that way.

Me and my family camped at this lovely campsite for 4 nights and the experience we had was great and smooth. My kids loved how free and safe they can be in the area. I love how they plotted the pitches, you have your own space (private ish). Facilities were okay. The owner was very accommodating and approachable. The campsite is situated near the walking & cycling route, beaches, pubs, shops & towns, in short very handy for us to places and or activities we love to do.

Superb campsite near Scarborough. This was our second stay this summer, which speaks for itself. Within minutes of pitching for our first stay I’d booked to come back. The campervan pitches are large and marked out by mown areas amongst meadow, with views over fields to the sea. We were lucky with weather both stays and benefited from clear starry nights too.

The facilities are good (the camper van side has the novelty of a converted horse box now used as shower and 2 toilets). You pay for what you use electric wise (£5 deposit for card, for a 2 night stay we used £2 - this feels like a much fairer way to pay and we think more sites should do this).

There is a bridleway leading down into Scalby, a pleasant village with 2 pubs, a shop and a cafe, and on the bus route to Scarborough. Nice walks in the other direction too.

During the summer the site does pizzas (preorder to avoid missing out). These were delicious.

I’m sure we will be back again!

This is a charming little campsite, the tent pitches are cut into a wild growing field giving each one a feeling of personal space and it’s nice to be able to pitch more than one tent as we are a large family. It has a relaxed and family feel. Its facilities are basic but well maintained and stocked with plenty of loo roll and the showers are nice and hot. The only things to be made aware of is that the pitches are sloped, some more than others but if you put your tent the right way it’s all right. Pizza night was well worth it. Very pleasant stay overall.

This was our first time staying at Prospect House Farm and we were not disappointed, it was everything we wanted. The campsite was lovely and peaceful, located close to both Scarborough and Dalby forest. The toilet/shower cubicles were always clean and tidy and there was a little playground which our kids loved. Fire pits were available to hire and also gorgeous homemade pizzas available to order on Saturdays! The owner, Joe, was so welcoming and provided us with lots of useful info during our stay. We would highly recommend this campsite to our friends and family, we can't wait to come back! 😁

Large pitches separated by longer grass so no chance of anybody pitching too close.

Reluctantly revealing how good this place is as it’s an absolute gem and I want to retain its secrecy. This is now our annual place. Owners are awesome, so is the site and the ablutions. Pizza…awesome…
Amazing!!! The best.

Absolutely fantastic site. Quiet, beautifully set up and in a perfect location for the area. The layout and set up was also absolutely perfect in terms of safety and accessibility, particularly for someone with a child with autism and learning disability. We all had a fantastic week. My only worry about leaving a good review is we might find it harder to get a pitch if more people know about it.

Prospect Farm campsite is a great spot. Quiet, slightly separated camping pitches. Decent toilet and shower facilities. Access to communal fridge and sockets if needed when camping and not on hook-up. Tranquil setting with good views towards Scarborough. On site shop has a basic selection of essentials and while we didn’t use them the availability of fire pits and logs is good. Scalby is handy and has a good selection of pubs and amenities. Great base to visit coastal or moorland locations.

Really nicely run site in a great location. Very well stocked shop full of a variety of amenities. Friendly staff. Showers and toilets always kept very clean.

Be warned that the car park can get very packed though. On busy nights it was sometimes difficult to park without feeling like my car was in the way.

We had a great stay and I would definitely return!

A lovely, peaceful campsite with views. Easy access to east coast towns and beaches. Pitches well laid out and plenty of space for play without being on top of other campers.

A beautiful site nesting in a valley a couple of miles from Scarborough. The camping plots are well laid out and there is a shop on site. A nice touch was the number of wheels barrows available to transport equipment to and from vehicles (cars aren't allowed on the field).

We just had a lovely week at Prospect House farm. We returned again after coming last year as it is in a great location for exploring a lovely area. It is quiet, safe with the children, relaxing. Everyone is friendly and helpful and the charging point, fridge and freezer make all the difference. The facilities are clean and the addition of the shop and pizza nights are helpful and a treat! We will be returning as we love it here. Thank you

One of the nicest campsites i have been to. Peaceful pitches which were spacious and distant from others, amazing views, clean toilets and really warm showers. Hiring firepits and toasting marshmallows made it even more special. Felt as if we were away from it all but also conveniently close to Scarborough. Hope to come back.

As with our first trip to Prospect House, this time with our children too, what we found was a tranquil and simple campsite. Never over crowded, a good amount of space between pitches and the pitch sizes are great too. This time we opted for electric hookup which was simple and easy. The readily available fire pits are great and the facilities get better each time we visit. The shop gets more and more stock every time we go in there it seems and the hosts are always great. Homemade pizzas on Saturdays beats tinned hot dogs all the way.
The only very small piece of constructive feedback I can give is to have some extra hooks in the shower rooms. As you can't store your clothes on the floor when showering as they end up dirty or damp. There are a couple of hooks in most shower rooms but could do with more - especially when showering kids after a busy beach day!
It's a small point though for an otherwise fantastic site. Highly recommended - get booking.

What a lovely gem of a campsite! Great location within 20/30 mins of everywhere we wanted to visit so ideal.
PIZZA WAS AMAZING - we took one bite and were sad we’d not ordered a second one! Yum!
Facilities are great, little campsite shop is a great touch also. We chose the pitch at the top of the field and the views didn’t disappoint either! We loved the wheelbarrow idea really helped with getting everything to pitch. Lovely owners who even went out of their way to get us some extra logs after shop had closed. Thank you for a lovely stay we will be back!
