“My husband organised this trip as a surprise for my birthday and what a lovely surprise it was. Fabulous amenities, lovely, peaceful place and the hot tub was a real treat. We ate at the plough and it was very nice. Albeit a bit pricey and the walk to Scalby was just enough to visit the village and pubs. It was a lovely day on my birthday and we spent it in Scarborough which was also a trip down memory lane. Thank you, great day and we would come again.”

Just returned from Little Big Lodge which is perfect place for relaxing and re charging.Booking easy and communication excellent. We initially booked the smaller lodge but Tom kindly offered the larger lodge as it was not in use.Called when we arrived and lodge was all ready. We were totally left alone to relax.Plenty of space in lodge and very clean and tastefully decorated. Absolutely everything you need there including hair dryer, iron and ironing board, Tassimo machine, wash up liquid, teatowel, led candles. There’s a table and chairs indoors as well. Towels and robes lovely and thick. Outside area is really private and there are two chairs and small table where we had breakfast. Hot tub is big and perfect temperature after long walk. It’s covered with lights above. Slept well in comfortable bed and shower is rainfall and easy to do. In case you wonder the bathroom light is on a timer..we were looking for switch 🤣.View is so lovely and lots of birds…lots of pheasants! We loved that it’s a dark skies retreat as it was pitch black by 11 and the stars were really bright.Already looking forward to returning later in the year but more nights thank you 😁

Lodge was lovely and well equipped, loads of walks and places to visit. The hot tub was great after a long walk or day out, will be recommending to friends and family and staying again!

Location was ideal for walks and views were beautiful as for the pod we stayed in was brilliant and wonderful hosts who were always on hand if you needed anything 😁

Wow these little lodges are amazing a real retreat the cleanliness was spot on the lodge is equipped with everything you need it really felt luxurious the hot tub was lovely and the views really are breathtaking over countryside to the sea and Scarborough castle the location is great just 5-10 mins in car to Scarborough would recommend to anyone if you are thinking of booking do it I can guarantee you won't regret it we will be returning 100%

Beautiful pod very modern well kept, hot tub was well positioned for privacy, lovely friendly village I ordered cheese cake flowers balloons and prosecco all were in room on arrival it a lovely place will be coming back soon

The pod was clean and the hot tub was wonderful, best hot tub we have found with a pod, we loved the lighting too. This truly is a lovely quiet place... great to see the stars! We have loved going to Sea Life Scarborough to see all the sea life, we were recommended by staff to go to Ravenscar Beach to see some seals in their natural habitat, unfortunately we were not able to do this in our trip, but we wanted to pass the recommendation onto others, we were very lucky to see dolphins along Scarborough seawall Heritage Trail. They were jumping out of the water, a truly wonderful sight. This was by South Bay Beach where we also got to see the lighthouse. It was still short but sweet and we are so grateful for our stay here. Thank you for being wonderful hosts. Best wishes, Lucy and Chris.

Well kitted out space for a self catered, relaxing weekend away. We spent time discussing the type of stay it is, as it’s so much more luxurious than glamping - really warm, cosy and comfortable. Very well maintained pod and hot tub.

You have a lovely way of escaping life, even for a couple of days!
The pod has everything we needed for a nice few nights away. It is truly a home away from home. The surrounding areas are delightful and are perfect for a nice wellied walk.
We have loved every second of being here and wish it was for longer than a few. We will definitely be back and have already recommended this area for friends and family.

Stayed during storm Darragh but even so was amazing stay beautiful cabin got to use hot tub once before storm hit in full force. Lovely friendly helpful hosts highly recommend.
